SUMMARY:Building Insights - Johnson Controls (FM:Systems) User Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us April 13 – 15\, 2026 as we reimagine & transform workplace experiences at our annual User Conference – Building Insights 2026 in New Orleans\, LA. At Building Insights\, attendees will have access to industry thought leadership\, customer stories\, top-notch networking\, learning opportunities including training\, product updates\, & more. AMS is excited to announce that we will be presenting at the conference with MIT Lincoln Laboratory! \nPresentation Session Info\nTopic: Building Trust – MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Workplace Data Journey \nTime: Tuesday April 14th from 12:30-1:10 PM CT \nPlace: La Fourche \nContent Summary \nMIT Lincoln Laboratory had long used OpenBlue Workplace\, but primarily in a limited capacity. As the organization sought to improve how space data was governed\, shared\, and used for decision-making\, MIT LL began a broader effort to establish Workplace as a trusted source of truth for its space portfolio. \nThis initiative required more than expanding a technology platform – it required clarifying ownership of space data\, aligning stakeholders across the organization\, and developing sustainable processes for managing and maintaining accurate information. \nWorking alongside AMS Workplace Technology as a technical implementation partner\, MIT LL defined new workflows\, refined business requirements\, and expanded the platform through multiple phases of implementation. The effort brought together organizational leadership\, facilities teams\, and technical specialists to address challenges related to data governance\, system integration\, and long-term adoption. \nThis session will share MIT LL’s journey – from early planning and stakeholder alignment to navigating data and integration complexities – while highlighting practical lessons learned. Attendees will gain insight into how organizations can evolve workplace technology platforms into trusted operational systems for managing and understanding their space portfolio. \nTakeaways & Objectives: \n\nHow organizations can establish governance and ownership for space data across multiple stakeholders\nPractical strategies for building trust in workplace and facilities data as a shared organizational resource\nLessons learned from planning and executing a multi-phase IWMS implementation\nApproaches for addressing data readiness\, integrations\, and long-term platform sustainability\nHow organizational alignment\, change management\, and technical implementation work together to support large workplace technology initiatives\n\nSpeaker Info\nLisa KoskulicsDirector of Product & Services \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nRegister to Attend
