Help When and How You Need It

With a system up and running, FM:Systems customers sometimes need additional resources to either help them in daily/weekly operations or further develop the system to leverage it to do more. AMS assists customers in multiple ways to help ensure data quality, continued success, and growth of their FM:Systems environment.

Support Options from AMS

We offer a few different support options, based on the amount of support and upkeep you require as well as budgetary considerations.

Operational Support

In cases where customers need on-site or more frequent operational support of space management upkeep, move management, maintenance management, or other daily/weekly needs, AMS can look to provide short- or long-term support with an option to hire. While not a temp agency, AMS helps get our customers support in facilities operations where needed and has an extensive network of professionals to work with as needed.

On-Demand Support

AMS offers on-demand support for cases where customers need ongoing support resources, but it is sporadic over time. This support typically ranges from assistance with data imports and reports to CAD floor plan cleanup and individual tutoring. Usually on a time and materials basis, it can be used for just about anything, including consulting, as facility and real estate customers continue to better use and leverage the software and related Facilities Management (FM) technology.

Support Pools

Some customers know they need support, but aren’t quite sure how much they will need, and sometimes these needs change as the business changes. Many customers fall into this category and want the flexibility of using support how and when they need it. In this case, you can open a support purchase order for an amount you’re comfortable with and chip away at that as needed. Typically, this does not include project-based services, but can provide a path to manage and control expenses as the need arises and get things done quickly when it does.

Annual Support Agreements

For customers who want to set up an annual budget and generally know the amount of support they are looking for, AMS offers a couple of options that fit.

  • Monthly support: One option is to set up a monthly cycle based on an annual commitment for an approximate per-month amount of support hours. This ensures consistent monthly billing at a special rate and hours would simply need to be close to the expected amount.
  • Support pool bucket: These hours do not have a monthly cadence but work the same way with as-used monthly billing and tracking of spend during the year. Funds may need to be added as the year goes on if more support is needed, but a special rate would again apply. Options for support also fall under break-fix or full-service options. Service Level Agreements (SLAs) can also be set up as part of this support agreement.
