Environmental Performance & Scorecard

With the Sustainability Management module, you can track your monthly costs for utilities (e.g., electricity, gas, water, waste) and run reports that show performance trends over time, as well as comparisons between buildings. You can also perform building condition assessments and even score areas about the building, from the outside envelope to the internal architecture and core elements within. Floor plans can be annotated using the built-in markup and measure tool to identify areas of concern and capture where action needs to be taken. The latest sensor technology and Internet of Things (IoT) hardware devices can read lighting, temperature, humidity, noise, and other environmental conditions and log results for the building and floor.

All this data is available to be summarized and analyzed in a report using the out-of-the-box FMx Reporting tool.

Track Sustainability Projects

Many sustainability efforts are retrofit projects in existing buildings. Whether it is re-lamping a building using LED lights or replacing hazardous materials with safer, newer ones, the Sustainability Management module helps to track project initiatives, even if they are simply being evaluated and not yet a project. You can plug in project budgets, timelines, environmental impacts, and calculate cost savings for determining Return on Investment (ROI). The projects help to identify the environmental actions that are being evaluated/considered year-over-year, and the final decisions and results for the building.

Dashboard Portfolio Visibility

The Sustainability Management module is a module that allows you to keep records of building performance, track sustainability initiatives/projects, and run reports with dashboards to visually understand how your portfolio of space stacks up when it comes to its environmental impact.

Adding sustainability building information and projects works seamlessly with the Space Management and Real Estate Portfolio modules to bring common data together in one place. Having access to all building data, you can show rich dashboard reports comparing multiples building in your portfolio. These can be combined with floor plan graphics to show building scorecard information on floor plans and can summarize project spending and ROI for sustainability projects year-over-year. With the sustainability data you have the Planet portion of People, Planet, and Profit that can be collected to understand the company’s Triple Bottom Line (TBL)!
